Hi,

I have a laptop (Win2k, SP4) with a 40 GB HDD. The HDD is partitioned into
3 NTFS volumes and 15GB free space. My system partition is 8 GB and has
only 3 GB unused space. I've already moved by internet cache to another
partition. I need to expand the system partition. I have Norton Ghost 2003
and Partition Magic 8.0. I was thinging I would make a clone of the entire
partition, then use PM8 to expand it and if anything goes kablewy, I can
always restore the Ghost clone. Is this a reasonable approach? If anyone
has recommendations or advice, I would appreciate it. Feel free to e-mail.

Thanks.

Your approach is reasonable.
I have used PM8 to do similar things.

I use those same two programs in the way you're wanting to and haven't
had a problem yet.
