Hi

I have a problem with System Monitor, located here.
Start - All Programs - Administrative Tools - Performance.

The CPU usage setting is no longer available in System Monitor.
Properties - Data - Add Counters.

My problem might have to do with having once disabled the Windows XP swap
file. The swap file is currently enabled, that is not a problem now, I am
not asking about swap files.

I get the impression that System Monitor is something which is
built/constructed in the Performance window but I have no clue how it would
be done.

Is there a way to refresh System Monitor settings, maybe an appication I
can recopy from the XP CD or something?

Thanks very much in advance for any leads. If my question is not clear
enough, please feel free to say so.

| No you don't, it's still there, I just found it on your machine.
| Look again.

Eh?

For my own part, I have never had a thought which I could not set down
in words with even more distinctness than that with which I conceived
it. There is, however, a class of fancies of exquisite delicacy which
are not thoughts, and to which as yet I have found it absolutely
impossible to adapt to language. These fancies arise in the soul, alas
how rarely. Only at epochs of most intense tranquillity, when the
bodily and mental health are in perfection. And at those weird points
of time, where the confines of the waking world blend with the world of
dreams. And so I captured this fancy, where all that we see, or seem,
is but a dream within a dream.

I scheduled a format on his machine, I thought he had something nasty.
Do us a favour and cancel it for me, ta.
