system\lsass.exe - NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM

my computer keeps shuting down after giving me a one minute warning. Rather similar to the ms blaster worm message. It says "The system process 'c:\windows\system32\lsass.exe' terminated unexpectedly with status code 128. The system will now shut down and restart" Also mentions the shutdown was initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM

anyone able to help?
