System Information.txt

it goes on and on with relevant info for 242 lines.
I've since changed my machine, and expect more changes in the future so I'd like to update this file
System Information.txt. I think it also gives the option to save it in html format.

Thing is I have no idea what I did to create this file.
It's not Nero's info file.

Well, it doesn't appear to be an exported .txt file from Microsoft's System
Information (msinfo32.exe) or DirectX Diagnostic Tool (dxdiag.exe). It
might be from a tool specific to your computer's manufacturer. Does HP have
a sort of System Tools folder under their stuff on your computer?

Thanks, the others aren't reading the post. I have the sysinfo tool. I actually have several of them already installed. On Vista, there's more superfluous system info tools than any OS before, and I hope it's the last with this many different tools.
Just that this particular one does more than I need, and it comes pre-installed on this Pavilion a1723w. I just need to re find it. I like the format and amount of info.

It writes a file 'System Information' and I think it allows txt or html as the extension. I prefer text. Hmm html.. why html if it's just a plaintext doc ?
Yeah I know, I tried dxdiag, and several of the system info from computermanagement, but those only had individual things vs all 242 lines this one has.

If I could, I'd go ahead and schedule an event to run that tool and create this file weekly or monthly on the desktop.
