my computer started to go crazy this days.
when i start windows xp it is very slow. and when i press Ctr+Alt+DEl i
found that the system's process gets to 100%. and it never comes down. i
think there may be problem with my hardwere can anyone help me????

There is no straight answer to this. You must provide more information.
1. Which process is running 100%? Or is it your CPU usage at 100%?
Click on the Processes tab and look to see what process is doing all
the "work". Write it down. Click on End Process if you feel it should not
be running. Only do this if you know what you are doing.

It sounds like you may have a bug running in the background. Reboot in Safe
Mode and run a virus scanner and a spyware removal tool.

2. I doubt hardware is the problem. If it is, you will be able to tell if
you boot into Safe Mode. Most devices are disabled in Safe Mode.

Your message isn't very clear. Is this the System Process or the System Idle
Process? If it's the system idle process, then this is not a problem since
this is the amount of power that the system is not using. If it is the
system process, you may have a problem.

If you think it may be hardware related, go to Start/Run and type msinfo32
and click OK. Expand the Components menu and click on Problem Devices. If
anything is listed there you may have a problem with that particular piece
of hardware.

Run a complete scan for viruses using your anti-virus program with updated
definitions.

Perform a scan with a couple of anti-spyware programs like AdAware and
Spybot.

Adaware SE (personal free version)

Spybot Search and Destroy (Free!)

Let us know what you find.

In your header you claim that system "idle" process is using 100% cpu but in
your ? it changes to "system's" process uses 100% cpu time, these are two very
different items which one is it?
