Hi

I've been altering group policies using gpedit.msc (I'm using XP pro
SP2)
but on my last computer a compaq nc8230 there is no System folder when
I run gpedit.msc
The Network and Printers folder are also gone.

The only folder showing in Computer Configuration\Administrative
Templates and User Configuration\Administrative templates is the
Windows Components folder.

Anyone got an idea what's wrong?

You may have detached a template. If you right-click on the
Administrative Templates (under User or Computer) and select Add/Remove
Templates, you should get a list of currently attached templates. The
Defaults are conf, inetres, system, wmplayer, and wuau. If they are
not all listed, you can press the Add button and re-select the
appropriate ADM file.

This action can also be seen if the associated ADM template is
corrupted or missing.
