System Files

I was attempting to delete some audio files (.mp3) which I copied from a
friend. When I clicked on delete, a dialogue box appeared stating that the
file is a system file. This appears to be very strange and I am wondering how
the mp3 file came to be a system file? I assume that it is safe to delete
them but how can I change the properties of these files so that they don't
show up as system files?

Hi

Best i can suggest you is just delete once the file extension like mp3 in
your case from File types in Folder Options and Re-Create it.
