System Explorers Missing

H

Hector

I to to advanced tools/system explorers and there's
nothing. I had this version on another computer and was
able to see and adjust my system explorer options. I'm not
able to do that now. How come? Does anybody know?

Here's the fix:

-----
We believe we have a workaround which is better than installing the VB6 SP.
Can we have users who experience this problem try the following:

1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> cmd)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without the quotes).
3) Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware

Please let me know if this is working.

The fix worked great. I haven't actually exlored the
systems since it was applied but I'm sure it's working
now. Thanks.

This is another fix that will pass into history when the new beta - Windows
Defender, is released.

Brilliant! :)
Works great.
Does anyone know why the system explorers disappear in the first place? I
had tried reinstalling and everything.

Generally this is a conflict with other software on your machine--most users
experiencing this issue also have Symantec software on their systems.
