System Explorers gone

Victor

Hello,

My system explorers option in MSA is gone after I
reinstalled Norton SystemWorks Premium 2005. Is there a
solution because I use this function of MSA to monitor
the computer..

Victor,

There is a known issue with NSW. Either uninstall MSAS and wait for the
next release or uninstall NSW ... and wait for the next release ;)

Explorer options gone too. Didn't install Norton
SystemWorks. There must be a setting somewhere that
affects their appearance. My tool bars all disappeared.
When I again installed Google Toolbar - it told me that
my BHOs were disabled and asked permission to enable them
which got back my tool bars. Since Explorers has a BHO
feature I wonder if there is a connection. Let me know if
you find a solution.

Are your System Explorers still not visible? Do you have any Norton
products installed?

Still not visible. I have Norton Ghost, but they were
visible long after I installed Norton Ghost or after I
installed MSA which ever came first. I think DELL tech
help had me change some settings to diagnose a problem
with Ads not appearing - they didn't solve the problem -
it turned out to be a switch in Webroot SpySweeper that I
found myself. After that "help" I couldn't see my
toolbars until a fresh install of Google Toolbar informed
me that my BHOs had been disabled and it offered to
enable them. I wonder if there are some other settings
that were changed.

Well - one of the Sytem Explorers allows you to list and block or remove
BHO's.
But Microsoft Antispyware itself isn't a BHO.

I'd be inclined to look at setting within Webroot Spysweeper, perhaps.
