System.exe entry point not found

I just ran the windows update and on completion it asked me to restart the
computer. When i did the error message "System.exe entry point not found"
came up and i cannot find the log in to my computer, the screen is just
blank. i dont know wat to do and cannot find out how to fix it. any help
would be great
