System exception: access violation.

When I double click on a page in the folder view to show the page, I get this
message. I've run the detect and repair, but it doesn't help. Any
suggestions?
 
Are you working in an Online server hosted site or your local PC localhost

I'm a newbie, just loaded FP, and am working on my PC before posting it.
 
Is the web you opened a disc based path to a folder on your PC ( as in C:\....)
- if so, your OS or antivirus is blocking your user permissions

Yes is it a disc based path. I'm running XP with Norton antivirus. Any
suggestions about how to isolate the issue?
