System event error

I don't know what group I should send this questions too, so here goes
nothing.
I had some windows updates that were install -- I have Windows Vista Home
Basic--and when restarted a window
came up that said there was System event log error. It pointed me to open
event viewer and there are a bunch
of errors there---the computer is working fine. I know NOTHING about the
workings of my laptop so do I just
leave it all alone??? thank you (e-mail address removed)

Well... not in a Microsoft Access(TM) database design group. If you're havingh
problems with Vista Home, please scroll down the list of subject areas and
find a newsgroup for Vista Home.

The webpage can be confusing, so you're neither the first or last to be misled
into posting here!
