System error message

When I boot my computer I receive a system error message:
Unable to open dialog. How do I relove this error ?
 
it happens at the very end- if i click ok on the message
another (the same message) appears, i click ok again and
then i am able to use the computer
 
A shot in the dark here; do you also have two windows, one titled Status and
the other titled Update? If so it may be or have been some variation of
IRC/BackDoor virus.
