Hello,

I have posted a message few days ago about a system error that
occured on win98 after installing my vb application that use secured
access 97 database.

In fact, access 97 previously installed on the target computer doesn't
want to start any more, providing the following message:

"A system error occurred, or there isn't enough free memory to start
Microsoft Access. Close unneeded programs and try again."

This also occured on win2000!

Joan Wild suggested to turn on the virtual memory or to increase the size
of the paging file. Thank you Joan.
But either of these two solutions worked.

Does anybody have a answer. Are the group information files corrupted?

Hi Gérard,

Have you tried re-registering DAO350.dll on the problem computer?

- Click Start > Run
- In the open run command type the following
regsvr32 "<full path the file DAO350.dll>"

- Click OK (should receive message "...succeeded...")

I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
respond back to this posting.

Hello,

I have reinstalled access 97 singe the last message.
To re-create the problem I have re-installed my vb application.
This uninstalled access 97 !?! So I re-installed access97.
The previous problem was back so I tried re-registring DAO350.dll
but this didn't helped I also tired re-registring DAO360.dll but no
help was found on this dll.

Perhaps the problem lies in properties defined in the InstallShield project
for my three secured databases and my group information file?
