System error; category: (102)

This same system error happens once in a while (every other day) and of
course causes the need to restart the computer. It's been a year since I've
bought this computer and this same error happens from the first days.
It happens by itself too.. no matter if I am actually not doing anything on
the pc.

You hav'nt mentioned the error code, possibly this one, here is my
info.

Error code 1000008e = "KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M" - Most of
newsgroup comments about this error point to faulty hardware or
drivers. The hardware varies from modems, video cards, USB device to
memory or sound cards. Sometimes it proves to be hardware that it is
not compatible with Windows XP. Q310740 gives an example of this error
occuring when and old Audigy sound card driver is installed.

Try removing all your cards & memory, one at a time ( so you know which
move fixed the problem ) & putting them back.

You may be able to get more info from the Event viewer.
HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;308427
Or,
Start > Run, copy & paste > eventvwr.msc /s & press Enter.
Scroll down to the last time your computer crashed and it should tell
you what device/driver caused the problem?

Sometimes it's written;
PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
or
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
or
BAD_POOL_HEADER

Once this message appeared also:
"The problem seems to be caused by the following file: WIN32K.SYS"

Have you any idea what's this about?
