Is there a way to format the system date to m/d/yy using
a gpo? I'm not good with scripting, wouldn't even know
where to put a script, or how to.

I'm using a 2000 domain w/ 75% 2000 pro machines, 25% xp
pro machines

TIA

Ken

I found kb#216661, but it's for NT4... Any assistance
would be greatly appreciated

It also works in Windows 2000 (NT 5.0), Windows XP (NT 5.1), and Windows Server
2003 (NT 5.2).

I believe you could write a script that modifies the date format using
the sDate and sLongDate values in HKCU\Control Panel\International and
deploy it as a logon script via GP.

Let me know.
