System crash because of ACPI

Hi ive recently been having problems with the BSOD (blue
screen of death) and i have looked in my error accounts
and it gave me this message can any one help me solve
this problem: AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from
an illegal IO port address (0x71), which lies in the
0x70 - 0x71 protected address range. This could lead to
system instability. Please contact your system vendor for
technical assistance.

This error is usually followed by the write error in
event viewer, from administrative tools:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;283649
I get these all the time, since xp came out, resuming
from standby or hybernation. See if there is an update to
your BIOS from the SYSTEM MANUFACTURER, otherwise, there
is not much you can do. The message sounds scarey, but it
doesn't seem to cause any crashes or 'system instability'
Your crashes may be due to something else!
