system backup utility

Is there a utility or program within WIN-XP that backs up my complete system
including programs, settings etc.? When I used system tool-backup it ran
until the space on the CD ran out but did not allow me to put another cd in
the drive to continue the backup (unless I did it wrong). I thought that I
previously found something that looked at my system and estimated how many
cd's I would need on hand to do a backup of the complete system and then
assist me in doing a backup.

Thanks

Several popular imaging utilities are available. Among them...

http://WWW.TERABYTEUNLIMITED.COM/ (Windows and DOS Image)
http://www.ghost.com
http://www.powerquest.com/driveimage

You can't use NT Backup to copy to disks. It doesn't allow
disk spanning. You need a third part software like Norton
Ghost. Have fun.

NtBackup will not span CD's. You must have Direct CD are
something like it installed because usually it will not
even recognize the CD drive. If you're going to use it you
need a third party program that will span CD's.
