System auto shutdown

Hi,

I'm using Windows XP Pro with IE6 browser.
Whenever i'm using the IE6 brower, the system
will auto shutdown with a message:-

"...initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM."
and
"Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated
unexpectedly."
with a timer start counting down from 1 minute.

After the time had reached, the system will shutdown.
However, if i connected to the internet without using
the IE6 browser, the system is as normal. I'd reinstalled
the IE6, but it does not solved the problem.

Please help. Thanks.

Regards,

Air23,

Your system is infected by RPC (W32.Blaster) Worm. This is causing the system to shutdown abnormally.

Cause: You have not enabled the firewall while browsing the internet and not patched the system with latest Microsoft WindowUpdate hotfixes.

A tool is available to remove Blaster worm and Nachi worm infections from computers that are running Windows 2000 or Windows XP:
