System Alert Problems

My system alert is flashing in my icon tray. It flashes back and forth
between a ? and a red circle with a slash through it. When I click on the
icon it takes me to some spydawn website. I've tried everything that I can
think of to get ride of it and it won't go away. What should I do??

I am also having the same problem. I tried to do the manual removal
suggested above, but the links to download the tools weren't working.
Is there an automated removal available? Any other suggestions?
