System Administrator has set the Policies to Prevent this Installa

Hi,
On My PC, I downloaded some updates, I am unable to install those..the
Message displayed by the installer is..
"System Administrator has set the Policies to prevent this installation"

No matter what I Do..It wouldn't install..However, I have been able to
install some other programmes..

Configuration is WIndowsXp sp2, P4 2.4 GHZ, 512 MB RAM, 256 MB Vedio Card
(AGP)

Tried Installing the Windows Installer 3.1 ( it already is on my pC) however
it wouldn't install either..with the same msg.

Can anyone help..?

I am having the SAME problem! I also believe this is causing some of the
other problem that I've been having with other programs (i.e. Roxio,
XingTones, other Video software), and I cannot seem to find a solution! My
setup is this:

Windows XP Home/SP2
2.53GH w/1MB RAM
2TB(!) HD space
ZoneAlarm, SystemWorks, E-Trust PestPatrol, Webroot SpySweeper (all disabled)
High-Speed Cable modem
CD-ROM & CD/DVD Combo Drive

Can SOMEONE PLEASE HELP US!!! :-(
