this week every time I sign in the system 32 folder automactically opens.
Can anyone tell me how to stop this from happening?

Do a search in here because there must be dozens of answers for this very
same thing.

I don't know if this helps or not, but sometimes Windows
opens the last folder accessed when you open Explorer.

Go to msconfig and click the start up tap. Now take the
check mark off any system 32 boxes that appears there.
Restart the pc and put a check mark in the box that comes
up saying that you are running a selective start up ..
Note check for a virus wornm called win32/imfree.. Use ad-
aware to check for this.. If you are running AIM go to
there home page and under their security central tap you
will find out what to do if you have a virus/trojan...
