Malke and Carey have already pointed you to info on possible causes and
resolutions. Want to clarify on terminology: Windows\system32\ is not a
file. It's a folder.
One way to remember the difference is to think of the folder as a
container. A container capable of holding other objects (files and possibly
more folders).
