When i turn on the computer and LOGIN i,after 5 seconds or so,get a system32
screen come up telling me not to amend these files. How do i stop this screen
from appearing,it has only happened the last 4 or 5 days, thankyou for any
help.

If you have Windows XP then you can go back about 5 or6 days or more ,
whenever your computer was operating AOK by clicking on " programs " and then
" accessories " and then " system restore " . After getting to " system
restore " you will be prompted on what to do and this will take your computer
back to where the problem did not appear . Pat

Go to Programs and click on accessories and then click on system tools and
then system restore . Set the clock back 5 or 6 days to when your computer
was operating properly and you should be OK .

I assume you mean the System32 folder is open on the desktop after you
login. Here are some answers:

System32 Folder Opens - Information by Bruce Chambers:

This can be caused by a blank entry, such as can be left behind by an
incomplete program removal, in the:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and/or
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys.

Why this is happening can be found here:

Also at this site

there is an automatic registry fix for this,I looked for the location for
you twice but I'm somewhat tired right now and skipped over it.The file
should read
"system32 opens at boot"
