sysprep of msdn svr 2003 ?

Hi,

On my testenvironment with a VMware w2k3 msdn server, I was running
sysprep so I can clone the VMware image.
But after sysprep I had to enter a Product Key. I entered a valid Key,
but it always said "invalid key".

Does sysprep not function with msdn versions??
