Sysprep Error: An error occured while trying to update your regist

The remainder of the message is: Unable to coninue.

Then, after clicking OK: Reseal machine failed !

Sysprep version 2.0 on an XP SP2 new build, trying to get a baseline image
created.
The HAL of the machine is an MP. This also happened on a UP machine.

I have the same image on an ACPI/laptop that did not have this error.

We have the mass storage entry in sysprep.inf, and run:
sysprep -reseal -mini

Then-the above error shows up. Any ideas ??

Hello Ron,
This can occur when there are errors in the massstorage section of the
sysprep.inf.
One of the entries isn't correct or doesn't match.
Either the path is wrong or the PnP ID is wrong in most cases.
