Sysprep difficulties

Good afternoon,

I am currently having difficulties usng Sysprep. Each
time I create an image using sysprep -reseal -mini, I am
required to enter the product key, which should not be a
problem. However, two issues arise from this: first, I
have already included the key in the sysprep.inf file.
Secondly, the product key is not accepted, although I
know perfectly well that the key I am entering is valid.
Has anyone encountered problems similar to this before?
Thank you for your time.

sounds like you AREN'T using a valid key. this is exactly what will happen
if you are using an invalid key in sysprep.inf. is this an OEM version of
XP and/or are you using a volume license key?

dealing with the same problem here. i have confirmed
using the volume licensing key (with reseller and in .inf
file) but cannot get the setup program to run. have tried
different combinations trying to get the setup process to
run automated. using windows xp sp 1 setupmanager/sysprep
file. has anyone else found a workaround?
