I am creating an XP SP2 image. I installed some USB drivers and saw USB
devices were enumerated in HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB. After I
run Sysprep and restarted the computer, the devices in
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB were all gone. When users plug in a
USB device, Windows will ask for a driver.
What's strange is I used the image and did Sysprep again. The second time
the devices would NOT be removed from
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB. Then again the 3rd time the devices
were removed. Then again the 4th time the devices were not removed.
How do I let Sysprep always keep hardware enumeration?
