Trying to open sysedit on a W2K Pro box and getting the
following error message:

SYSTEM CONFIGURATION EDITOR
C:\CONFIG.SYS
CANNOT OPEN THIS FILE.

and....

SYSTEM CONFIGURATION EDITOR
C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT
CANNOT OPEN THIS FILE.

Please assist.

that's because the files do not exist

win2k can process them however
if you have the specific need to create either

check the attributes of the two files.
