have any1 already noticed that sysedit is still distributed with Vista?
can believe this, it will survive to any1 of us LOL

And it doesn't even prompt for elevation with UAC enabled! It just fails to
save the files. How did this bug get missed during the beta ???? :)

And it's a 16 bit app so it gets a generic icon - it's the app MS used to
test my question about icons and 16 bit apps.

sorry, can't agree... it's not a generic icon.
It as been the sysedit icon since 1991!

Not here, it's an entirely different icon to the one used in XP - it's the
icon Explorer uses for all 16 bit apps since the ability to extract icons
for 16 bit apps no longer exists in Vista (I posted the MS response here
today).
