Sysdiff

Phil

I want to use Sysdiff for an unattended installation of
some proprietary software. When I try to run the
snapshot, I get an error. I type: "sysdiff /snap org.img"
and if gives me the error"Unable to load sysdiff.inf". If
anyone knows how to get past this, or where to find
sysdiff.inf, it would be very helpful. Thanks.

Phil,

Sysdiff is a very old utility. I would suggest not using it for today's
current set of applications. There are many 3rd party utilities out there
for capturing applications for deployments that are much more robust

With that in mind you can obtain sysdiff.inf at the following location:
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/reskit/win2000/

| Just MHO, of course.
