Sys Administrator

I installed the XP Home and did the upgrade from WIN98SE. I have yet to
find where I can sign in as System Administrator. I am logged in as
Computer Administrator and that is all. Have tried booting into Safe Mode,
where they day I can do this, but have seen nothing in there to allow me to
become a System Administrator. Is this not possible because I did the
upgrade or am I missing something???

There are only two user groups in XP Home - administrator and limited. Any
administrator account has complete control over the local system. There may
be some default road blocks here and there (read only registry keys, for
example) but as administrator the road blocks can be removed.

A domain might have a system administrator that administers the server and
entire network. Their settings would override those of a local
administrator. However, in most cases, if you are trying to follow
directions that say you must be logged on as the system administrator, use
your "computer administrator" account.
