SyncToy

Before I begin, let me say that SyncToy shows enormous potential and it's
really a great tool. I love it already!

Here are my questions:

How does SyncToy perform when multiple users sync the same directory?
Specifically, what events are occurring with the SyncToyId.txt file?

Is multi-user functionality a design goal for SyncToy? Or is it intended to
be primarily a single user application, with possible/limited support for
multiple users?

This is an extremely critical function as many of the directories I would
like to synch are common areas for others as well.

Thanks.

Thank you Sami,

To answer your question directly, SyncToy was not designed to be a
multi-user application. That is, users can't share each others directory pair
information.

That said, multiple users syncing files to common directories was a design
goal for SyncToy. We'd love to hear how this works for you...

I hope this helps...
