I have outlook 2003 on both my desktop and laptop. I
have to go on a trip and would like to move my saved
emails, and my contacts, from the desktop to the laptop.

Also can you tell me where to find the stored emails that
is in the Private Folder area, and how can I move the
location of the folder. It must be on the "C" drive that
has limited space, I would like to relocate it to the "D"
drive that is much bigger.

Thanks (e-mail address removed)

John

Hello John,

Have a look at www.slipstick.com/outlook/sync.html or at my signature for a
powerful synchronization tool.

To move your pst file to the D drive:
Close Outlook. Open Windows Explorer and move the pst file from the C drive
to the D drive.
Next time you start Outlook it will tell you that the pst file could not be
found.
Browse to the pst file on the D drive and click OK.
