syncronize between laptop and PC

my laptop has been stolen. i lost all data since the last backup
now, i need to check if all my data is accurate

How can I syncronize my PC with my laptop, so that I will never lose data
again?

i want to syncronize My Documents
email with outlook *.pst files

if I change something on one computer the other must update

i use also Active Sync with my Ipaq 3850 Pocket PC
can i use something similar between laptop and PC?

any suggestions?
