I am also receiveing the 4202 error. I cannort find any reference to this
error. Does anyone know how to resolve this error? Or, is there a reference
available to start troubleshooting? Thanks in advance.

Did you do what the error told you to do, i.e., access your Hotmail via the
web first?

I also had the same 4202 error. Phone support from my ISP and MS had no
clue. I installed the program (Office/Outlook 2003) on another system and
found that the .PST and the .OST files must update at the same time when the
program exits.
The only way I could make this happen waas to remove Office completely,
(repairing did not help) and the updates to it and perform a new install,
allowing it to update itself to the latest files for Office and Outlook.
