I can send but not receive emails in outlook - V2

on 5/2/7 my Outlook was working fine and for the last few days it's not
working.

Basically I am able to send an email without a problem. I am unable to
download and read emails.

I am working online.

There is no alert on the "server status" button.

I just looked at the detailed report from the server status and I get the
following message:

Time: 5/6/2008 12:17:29 PM
Error in Mail

Outlook version? Did you follow the directions in the error code?

Is it a POP or an IMAP account?

Messaging API (MAPI). Its basically a windows live email account.

Not necessarily, but it can be.

Have you tried to delete the account completely and then readd it? It
sounds like there's a mismatch between the server and the cache PST.

I'm afriad I'll loose all my calendar items and contacts if I delete it and
reconnect. I'm not considered a paying subscriber. Would I loose all my
calendar and contacts?

I also just tried to repair office 2003 but the problems continues.

Since your data is on the server, removing the account and re-adding it
shouldn't affect your data.

Brian,

I'm not sure what happened but my system all of a sudden started to download
all emails from last week without a problem. I have no explanation.

Thank you for helping.

Jose
