Syncronization between NT and 2000

I have an AD domain that is upgraded from an NT domain
and still have NT BDCs. I am now haveing password issues
where it doesn't seem like the passwords are
synchronizing between the 2000 and NT servers. It also
looks like all the 2000 workstations are login into the
2000 AD servers even though I have the NT4emulator
registry setting on both AD servers. Any help would be
greatly appreachated.
 
Did you change the AD domain to native mode? If you did,
you're toast. Only a mixed mode domain will replicate to
an NT4 BDC.

What do you mean by NT4emulator? Do you mean the PDC
Emulator FSMO role? If so, that can only be on one DC.
