syncing outlook 03 with live calendar

I am not a paid live client. Can I sync my outlook 03 with the new calendar
live. I have downloaded outlook connector but dont seem able to sync the
calendar. Is that possible?

Check the connector version. Is it the beta? If so, what does the sync log
say?

contacts are included in the sync.
