Syncing offline files

B

Brendan

Issue:

A user on my network, needs to sync a few hundred files, but for some
unknown reason at the moment, everytime he hits the sync button it will only
sync 1 file. He has to constantly do this to sync all of his files.

Has anyone seen this issue before?

Im doing the typical google searches, but im hopesing some one here has seen
this before.

Thank you,

Brendan

Hi Brendan,

Has the data server changed by any chance? Offline Files may need to
have the cache flushed. In the Offline Files tab, hold down Ctrl-Shift
and click the Delete files button. Answer Yes and restart.

Another issue may be excluded files:

Terry,

All the file types are valid files to be used with offline files and
syncing, and there was no change with the server or file locations.

I managed to get it to work with using, the start\accessories\Syncronization
button. But its odd that the auto sync seems to want to just do it one file
at a time.

Brendan,

Did you re-initialize the cache?

No need to go through the menus. Just right-click on the OF icon in the
System Tray and select Synchronize.
