Does anyone know how to syncronize Favorites between two computers?

File -> Import and Export

Oh. You're saying that if I export favorites from one computer and import
them to another then it will merge the two favorites so that I get the union
of the two? I didn't know that.

Yes.

Before you ask, File | Import and Export in Internet Explorer.

Thanks, Vanguard and Frank. Here is what I just did:
1. Exported favorites on machine A
2. Got them over to machine B and imported them
3. Pruned down favorites on machine B to get rid of useless junk
3. Exported the new result on machine B
4. Got it over to machine A
5. Used windows explorer to delete everything inside machine A favorites
file
6. Imported the new favorites on machine A

I did all this because I wanted identical, pruned-down favorites on each
machine. Did I chose the best way? I especially wonder about step 5.

That's pretty much how I would do it (if I were to bother doing it). I
ought to before my next trip.

Even easier is if the 2 computers are networked. Then you can have each
point to the same networked drive folder where you share the Favorites.
Then changes you make in one get reflected when you access them in the
other. Easier than using the Sneakernet you're using now.

Vanguard, they are networked on my home wifi so I've been using windows
explorer for the transfers. I think the problem with your idea of using a
single file is that if the file is on the other computer then you're out of
luck when the other computer is turned off. It would be a good idea if I
had some always-on network storage but I don't.
