synchronizing Outlook 2003 and my Palm 505

I have a new computer running Outlook 2003. When I try to
sync my Palm I get the message "A program is trying to
access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do
you want to allow this"? It gives me the option to select
yes or no or allow access for a specified number of
minutes. Selecting one of these options seems to have no
results. The hotsync process continues to run but does
not complete itself. I have to cancel it.
MS has a Knowledge Base Article (821295) that states the
cause of this problem is because of the security features
in Outlook 2003. However, it offers no solution to the
problem.
Would anyone know how to get around this problem?

I am pretty sure the latest version of the HotSync Manager doesn't have
this problem. I use it and don't have a problem.
