Synchronizing "My Documents" and E-Mail

I have a laptop computer and a desktop computer, and I want to be able
to do the following:

1) Synch the "My Documents" between systems
2) Synch my "Thunderbird" e-mails between systems

How can I do this? Thanks.

I think I partially answered my question. I found FolderMatch here
(http://www.tucows.com/preview/195723) and AJC Directory Synchronizer
and SynBackSE here (http://www.tech-pro.net/howto_033.html). They're
shareware, so I can test them out later. From what I've read from three
sources (PCWorld, Tech-Pro, another I forgot), Briefcase is quirky and
fairly useless for synching.
