synchronize with pda

When I sunc my verizon based pc pocket with outlook 2003 the hostory from
prior to 35 days gets wiped out on my desktop. I know verizon pc pocket only
holds that many days but why it is overiding what is on my desktop? Can I fix
this or chnage a setting?
 
Thanks, I looked there I did not see any real options to fix it.. It appears
that since the old history is being deleted by verizon that outlook is
treating it as the last item done therefore wiping out the history on the
desktop. I am by no means an expert at any of this.

There are no settings in Outlook that control any aspect of the sync
process. It is all controlled by the software you use to sync and the
capabilities of the handheld device.
