synchronising

Can anyone help here?

I use outlook on both my Desktop and my laptop.

I want to keep my calendar synchronised on both. (email too if possible)

Until now I have been exporting it to a CSV file and dragging it backwards
and forwards via memory stick or home network.

As they are wireless networked at home - can I get it to do it
automatically?

If so how. I can't get round the microsoft help.

If not - is there an easier way?

Thanks

Nick

One UNSUPPORTED way is to create a network share on the desktop. With
Outlook closed, move your PST to the shared folder. Restart Outlook. When
it complains, browse to the moved PST. Outlook on the Desktop will now have
access to the PST again just as before. Close Outlook.

On the laptop, with Outlook closed, rename your PST to some other name,
keeping the .pst file type. Start Outlook. When it complains, browse to
the PST on the network share. Now both Outlooks will reference exactly the
same message store.

You can't have both copies of Outlook open at one time and if the laptop
leaves the network, it will lose access to the PST.

Hello,
we recently released a Beta version of EZOutlookSync- that is meant to
do just what you need.
You basically show to the program the two *.pst files, select which
folders to synchronize and it will compare them and bring updated data
to each, or to one of them (you can also select which folders to
synchronize). Program saves profiles, so following synchornziations can
be performed with several mouse clicks.
Beta version is absolutely free- please feel free to download from
http://www.ezoutlooksync.com . We would be really grateful to listen to
any comments and feature requests you might have.

Best regards,
Maxim
