I am using an ADSL router, networked to a desktop and a laptop (both of which
are connected to the net). I want to use Outlook to have the same emails and
contacts on both. I'm guessing I will have to host the stuff on the one and
synchro folders on the other. But I have no idea where to start.

Is this even possible? All replies welcomed.

Start here: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/sync.htm

You can also put your desktop PST on a network share and access it from the
laptop as well. (Not at the same time,. though, and it's unsupported).
