Sync with Palm software

I have had trouble using 3 different versions of Office from 2000, 2003 and
now 2007 and getting the calendar to synchronize. I just purchased a Palm
Centro Smartphone thinking the new Palmm software would help. No it did not.
It will sync with the Palm desktop but when I try to sync with Outlook,
contacts are fine Calendar will not sync. I ran diagnostics and it says i
repaired it and it still won't sync. Could there be a corrupted file in my
calendar?
 
This likely has nothing to do with Outlook or the calendar. It is most
likely a setting or problem with Palm Desktop.

What does your phone vendor say? Outlook doesn't take an active part in the
synching and has no settings to control it. It's all up to whatever sync
software you use.
 
I have a new Centro and have had a palm tungsten e for 10 years+. I get an
error message everytime I try to sync. I have done a hard reset and removed
the program from my computer. I have also downloaded the software from the
palm website instead of using the CD provided with the Centro. I have called
Palm and Verizon and I have tried to find info on the microsoft website. I
am about to throw this Centro in the trash. Anyone able to help?

Since Outlook doesn't take an active role in the sync, there is nothing in
Outlook that can be adjusted. Perhaps if you were to Google that secret
error message you'd find something.

I don't use Outlook, I use the palm desktop for calendar and contacts.

Why, then, did you ask the question, if you don't use Outlook?
