Sync Problem with Exchange Server 2000 and Outlook 2003

I came in this morning and discovered my outlook was not synchronizing with
our exchange server.

Here is what I have found:

When I got into Send/Receive Settings --> Show Progress I see this:

Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x00040820) : 'Errors in
background synchronization. In most cases, further information is available
in a synchronization log in the Sync Issues folder.'

When I look in the Sync Issues Fold I found a ton of messages all say this:

11:02:30 Synchronizer Version 11.0.5604

11:02:30 Synchronizing Mailbox 'Andrew Smith'

11:02:30 Synchronizing Hierarchy

11:02:30 Synchronizing server changes in folder 'Inbox'

11:02:30 Downloading from server '<DOMAIN SERVER REMOVED>'

11:02:30 Error synchronizing folder

11:02:30 The item was found to contain a virus that
could not be cleaned. For more information, contact your Exchange server
administrator.

I've followed that link, but it talks about Outlook 2000, and some of the
directions don't jive with XP/2003.

I can log into my inbox via the web mail. There are several messages (4 to
be exact) which all with the same subject. These messages were the start of
when my problems began.

When I try to delete the messages I get the error:

"Some items could not be deleted. They were either moved, or already
deleted, or access was denied."

P.S. I am the network admin.
