sync e-mails from hotmail

Using exchange server, outlook has trouble to receive forwarded emails from
hotmail, gmail works fine. I would like to link emails, sent to hotmail, to
BCM accounts/contacts/projects. Is there a fix to forward emails from hotmail
to outlook or any other solution available?

I synchronize my Hotmail account directly into Outlook via a POP email
account setting in Outlook.

This is very easy to set up: In Outlook, go to Tools>Account Settings> You
then set up a new email account manually (just follow the wizard and fill in
the fields as you go). As you fill out the fields, on the Incoming Mail
Server setting enter: pop3.live.com. On the Outgoing Mail Server field you
enter: smtp.live.com. Then go to the "More Settings" button and under the
Outgoing Server Tab, click the box "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires
authentication." Under the Advanced Tab enter the incoming server port
number to 995 and check the box indicating that this server requires an
encryped connection (SSL). Just below that, enter the outgoing server port
(SMTP) to 25 and then again right below that select TLS from the drop down
box to indicate the type of encrpted connection.

After configuring your personal hotmail to these Outlook settings, your email
will now arrive directly into the inbox of your personal folders (PST) file
instead of your Exchange folders inbox.
