Sync Center question

Hi,
How do I use sync folders on my PC (using Sync Center or any other program)
with a USB drive?
Currently "Setup sync partnerships" does not show anything.

you can sync external devices
like flash drive and flash cards to
the hard drive (and vice versa)
with microsoft's sync toy.

it is free and can be found via
microsoft.com
